I have used the facebook logo on my block to display how my magazine have a page on facebook. I then had the idea to make my magazine a logo so that when I'm advertising a smart phone app there can be a button next to it. This makes my magazine seem more professional and it adds a iconic feature will help my audience to recognise the magazine.
I showed how I made my button by using "Camtasia". I started by turning off all my layers and then turning them back on slowly in the order of which I made my button. This way the order of effects of how my button evolved are clear. I started with a grey box I then duplicated that layer. Then I added my text. I thought that it looked plain so I added effects like gradient and bevel and embossed my text.
